Sukkah | Site Specific Installation

This structure was created for the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. Along with five other students and with faculty supervision, the Sukkah, located on the McMicken Quad on UC’s campus, was designed and constructed in collaboration with the Cincinnati Hillel location.

Featuring freshly harvested bamboo and a custom table, the Sukkah was created and constructed as a space for people on campus to gather, reflect, and relax as they celebrate or learn about the holiday of Sukkot.
